Delicious energy bites with orange

These energy bites are so delicious and so easy to prepare that you will cook them again and again! They look like truffles but with less calories and way healthier. Are you wondering what's the secter ingredient? The Orange-Cardamom Jam :)

Ingredients:

1 cup dates, pitted
120 gr oat flakes
100 gr walnuts
3 tbsp Orange - Cardamom Jam
1 tbsp cinnamon 

For the topping:

Carob powder, walnut, chocolate, cocoa or coconut.

Step by step:

1. Soak the dates in warm water.

2. Blend the oat flakes and the walnuts. Add the cinnamon and mix well.

3. Add the mashed dates and the Orange-Cardamom Jam and mix them well with your hands until they are homogenized (you can use the mixer instead but using your hands make it more fun).

4. Shape them into small balls.

5. Sprinkle with carob powder, walnuts, cocunut, cocoa or melt some chocolate in bain-marie and pour it on top.

 

You can store them in the refrigerator.
